My passion is helping individuals on their journey toward healing. I serve individuals, couples, and families of all varieties. I am a firm believer that love is love and that love can heal; my goal is to share that hope and passion with individuals, couples, and families within our local LGBTQQIA Community as well.
I have been trained to incorporate the influence of broader social and environmental factors within my evidence-based and individualized practice and am currently seeking additional trainings and resources to ensure that my practice is and remains compassionate, inclusive, and healing.
Within my specialized graduate program, I was trained to utilize techniques in a variety of therapy models, specifically CBT and EFT for couples. I have specialized training in the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders and utilize Exposure and Ritual Prevention Therapy for the treatment of OCD, Eating Disorders, and related anxiety Disorders;
When working with children and families, I utilize Structural Family Therapy techniques to promote change in both children and their family systems.
I am a collaborative therapist, viewing clients as equals in the treatment process and promoting the healing nature of the therapeutic relationship.
