They are very open to caring for transgender patients, and many of them have spent time shadowing a surgeon that performs gender confirmation surgeries in clinic and in the operating room. They have attended conferences, meetings and hosted cultural competency seminars to insure that Sullivan Physical Therapy is an inclusive facility for all patients. They treat conditions such as pelvic and abdominal pain, scar management, pain with sexual activity, bladder frequency/urgency, bowel dysfunction, among a variety of other complaints.
