A member of GLMA and a self-identifying lesbian, I work closely with the interdisciplinary team at Rush. This includes providers focused on gender affirmation programming, social work for psycho-social needs, and psychiatry. I have completed many CME/CEU focused on LGBTQIA+ components of primary care. I have helped in education efforts for system wide LGBTQIA+ education for staff and students, and always believe there is more work to be done. It’s my drive to help eliminate the health disparities that effect the LGBTQIA+ populations through my work in primary care and partnering with others.
