David’s areas of interest are addressing the long-term effects of trauma on health and mental health, and the specific needs of the LGBTQIA+ communities including assisting transgender individuals in their process of becoming their authentic selves. David has been a part of the queer community since 1985, and transitioned in 1989. He is also a WPATH member, and an experienced staff trainer on LGBTQ issues. Practice will be accepting new clients starting April 2019.
