I’ve been providing LGBTQ comptent therapy since 1994 as an openly gay therapist (Back when it wasn’t too popular to do so in Salt Lake City). I’ve been active throughout the nation educating communities on mental health care and issues that impact LGBTQ health and mental health. I’m an active member of the LGBTQ Therapist Guild of Utah, NASW and for the last 5 years a contributor to Reconciliation and Growth addressing ethical issues between the intersections of Religion and Sexual Orientation. I currently teach at the U of U College of Social Work and address issues around social work, mental health and LGBTQ issues.
