I have over twenty five years of experience and training in working with the LGBTQ community. I have worked in a variety of settings from community mental health, to providing services in a psychiatric hospital to my current position at a private practice. I believe in walking beside my clients to provide coping skills and support as they progress towards their treatment goals. I believe in involving the client’s family in the process if they are supportive. I also assign homework as a way for a client to practice new skills in his/her everyday life.
