I am an openly gay male physician who has spent most of his career trying to bring awareness to sexual health issues that affect the LGBTQ community. It is not often that physicians feel comfortable discussing issues around sex and sexuality with their patients. Those opportunities are often afforded less to members of the LGBTQ community. It is my goal to facilitate an environment in which conversations about sex can feel safe and encouraging so that patients can get the help they need to lead more fulfilling sexual lives.
