I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and PTSD as well as issues relating to loss of identity, lack of meaning and purpose in life, and difficulty with emotional expression. I prefer to use a strengths-based and collaborative framework to determine an appropriate approach that will best meet the needs of my clients.
After receiving a Master’s degree in art therapy and counseling in 2015, I obtained additional training in EMDR and training from STAR Behavioral Health Providers to treat military specific issues. I self-identify as a LGBTQ Ally and have completed cultural competency trainings facilitated by OutCare. I also have extensive experience in working with adolescents and adults with chemical dependency and other co-occuring issues. I am grateful to be included in a multi-disciplinary team of providers at Northside Mental Health. Our location provides a warm, safe environment for our clients to be seen, heard, and supported.
