First and foremost, I consider myself a passionate ally of the LGBTQ community. I attend conferences and trainings specifically focused on LGBTQ mental health care several times a year and have completed the Transgender Care course at the Fenway Institute. My office is LGBTQ inclusive- I have LGBTQ oriented information in my lobby, use LGBTQ inclusive language in my sessions as well as in my paperwork and I even have a Pride flag hanging up! I am so proud and honored to serve LGBTQ clients in my practice and am always open to feedback about how to be as inclusive and sensitive as possible to anyone who comes through my door.
