I am a member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) and attend medical education conferences to maintain competency in gender affirming care.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cordoba. When I first came to her, I had been refused care by 5 different endocrinologists in the RGV, before finding one who was willing to treat me. He moved his practice while I was under his care and had barely been started on t-blockers. Dr. Cordoba was empathetic, affirming, and made me feel welcome as a patient. For over three years, she has treated me and continues to oversee my long term hormonal care. In addition, she has provided care to many friends – AFABs transitioning to male, AMABs transitioning to female, and non-binary genderqueer people. If you are a transgender person and need HRT, she is your best option, or if you are a queer diabetic looking for an endocrinologist, I cannot recommend her enough.
