My main job is as a social worker for the County of Los Angeles Dept of Mental Health. I am part of the LGBT+ committee where I work, where we strive to bring awareness to and educate all the staff in our clinic. I also do presentations for social workers and other mental health professionals where I strive to bring awareness of the unique needs/qualities of LGBT+ folx as well as touch on LGBT+ affirmative techniques to other mental health professionals. I am also an intern 2 days a week at the LA LGBT center where I serve LGBT+ clients with therapy.
