As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I have seen firsthand the difficulty of finding sensitive, inclusive care for myself, family, and friends. I strive to provide an open and inclusive practice that meets the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ population with a focus on prevention and maintaining health rather than treating random symptoms. I co-authored a resolution adopted by the American Osteopathic Association opposing all conversion/reorientation therapy and making it a violation of the code of ethics to support or endorse it as an osteopathic physician. I prescribe PrEP and am comfortable addressing most of the needs of LGBTQ+ patients, or if I am unable to help by partnering with them to find the support and resources needed.
