Hello! I am a white, queer, cis female working in San Diego, CA, both in person and telehealth. I work primarily with teens and young adults. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community. I love getting to work with and walk alongside queer folks. Being able to assist clients in navigating the development of their queer identity and finding home in oneself is such a privilege. In my therapeutic work, I view people as a whole rather than a collection of symptoms. Additionally, I deeply enjoy working with those who are or have previously been religious and are navigating their identity development and sexual orientation alongside their religious or post-religious self. Critically evaluating the traditional gender roles which have been placed on us and how to actively challenge them is something I find so important and would love to explore this together. My theoretical orientations are typically psychodynamic, emotion-focused, and interpersonal. The majority of my training and practice in working with the queer community has been through university counseling centers and private practice. I have had the pleasure of leading trainings and being a guest lecturer on ways one can work with the queer community.
