Healthy Transitions was founded in 2006 and has an annual patient census of 450+ trans and non-binary patients across the lifespan.
I have been practicing medicine for 25 years in NY and NJ, and have been engaged in trans health since 2001.
I serve on the inaugural editorial board of the Trangender Health journal.
I’ve served as medical director for a trans health information project that was funded by the CDC, I have served as a consultant to the CDC and HRSA (federal public health agencies), and I have been involved in health policy work as it relates to health and wellness of trans people across the lifespan.
I have authored numerous articles and have been an invited speaker on the topic of transgender health across the lifespan for over a decade and across the country.
I have attended or presented transgender health training from the Philly Transhealth Conference to GLMA and WPATH, as well as general medical association continuing medical education events.
I am a voting Member of WPATH & GLMA, and a past board officer of GLMA.
