Heather is kind, patient and understanding.
She knows and understands how the voice works and to help you achieve your goals.
Heather’s approach to gender-affirming voice training and care is comprehensive and holistic, and her knowledge base and experience are amazing. I really appreciate the coaching, feedback and resources she gave me, and feel that I am on the path to the voice of my dreams.
Heather is a warm, knowledgeable professional and LGBTQIA+ ally that I would recommend for any trans woman wanting to find her voice. I have worked with Heather now for close to a year and a half, first helping me to feminize my voice and then after vocal feminization surgery, Heather gave me the tools and know how I needed to safely heal and use my new instrument.
Heathed first and foremost understand how much of our identity and emotion is wrapped up in the voice. She has been incredible in helping me to feel more authentic in how I communicate and finding a voice that felt like me. Heather also in keenly aware of the unique safety issues trans women have in speaking and how our voices can lead to a better sense of well being.
I cannot say enough good things. Please know that your voice journey will take time and will require work on your part. Keep trusting the process and don’t give up! Life today is magical. I am now in a place where I pass full time, including my voice and it truly has opened my whole world. Thank you Heather 💕
I am so grateful, I really did think I could get to a place were I am confident in public but I was surprised on how well I am doing now! I really was given the tools to succeed and the kindness I was shown helped motivate me to do better.
Heather was a pleasure to work with! She gave me the skills and tools I need to speak confidently and in a way that affirms my identity.
Heather really is a wonderful teacher. I felt very welcomed and accepted when in her presence and tutoring. I was able to make great strides while utilizing her, and hope to keep doing so in the future. 10/10.
