I’m a queer licensed clinical psychologist (PY61337933) based in Washington state. Before and during graduate school, I had the opportunity to work in research at the University of Washington and Washington State University. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and completed my APA-accredited internship at Arkansas State Hospital, where I worked with adolescents and adults.
Before starting my private practice, I served as the Program Director and Clinical Psychologist at a long-term, state-run psychiatric hospital in Washington. There, I worked closely with teens (ages 13–17) and their families, providing individual, family, group, and milieu therapy, as well as crisis support. I had the privilege of cultivating an inclusive culture where LGBTQ+ youth felt safe, valued, and seen. I have experience helping parents navigate understanding and supporting their children regarding transitioning, gender identity, and sexuality. In private practice, I have had the joy of helping teens and young adults experience gender euphoria and navigate transitioning during times of uncertainty.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting young adults, adolescents, and families across a wide range of settings, often during some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. My clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I also draw from a Relational approach, helping you explore how your connections with others are shaped and how that impacts you. When you work with me you can expect affirming and trauma-informed care delivered with warmth and authenticity. I pull from my training and experience to tailor treatment to what works best for you.
