I’m a Black, queer, genderqueer, female-assigned, intermittently able-bodied, US born, somatic practitioner. I’ve served on Speaker’s Bureaus through the LGBTQ Programs Office at the University of Minnesota and volunteered for events such as the Dyke March in San Francisco. Currently my practice mostly serves queer and trans people of color, QTPOC. I’m proud to serve people struggling with the effects of sexual or racially-based trauma, LGBTQ+ folks, people with non-binary gender, as well as people navigating multiple intersections of oppression. I motivate from core principles of gratitude, kindness, and love.
Holistic therapies involving writing, art, play, & movement combined with talk can help you find gratitude for having survived, reconnection with deepest motivations, & direction toward your purpose. By bringing awareness to your body through your own senses, I collaborate with you in recognizing emotions & how those emotions relate to thinking and choices. If you’ve had a painful experience and feel stuck or you feel uncertain about whether or not therapy might help you, please contact me for a free 30-minute consultation. I want to know what’s happening for you.
