I am a Naturopathic Doctor and Nurse Practitioner, providing integrative and holistic medical care to adult patients. I am a friend and family member of LGBTQIA+ folks, and I am a passionate ally. I believe that all humans are entitled to healthcare where they feel heard, seen and accepted. I aim to provide care that allows patients to feel supported in their health journeys, and hold space to help them feel they can share their fears, concerns, and struggles. I have taken training in providing an accepting and safe space for LGBTQ+ health care, and I have attended lectures on transgender awareness/sensitivity within the health care field. I am very conscious of trauma and mental health, and continue to do hours of continued education in this field regularly. I have a diverse population of patients, and am happy to help them with hormone support, medication management for basic mental health concerns, integrative care for overall health, and preventative care for health risks. I am able to engage in honest, open conversation about sexual health. I believe I offer medical care without judgement, where my patients are able to feel safe in being vulnerable and honest. I see each patient as an individual with their own strengths, goals, and need for acceptance and I strive to provide care – and caring – tailored specifically to each unique person.
