I’m a Black queer, poly, cis-presenting woman with physical and invisible disabilities. I am a therapist that knows the difference between unconscious depression from conscious maladaptive wariness and despair from living in this nation. I believe in treating the intersections of the whole person.
I have a specialized interest in healing Black LGBTQIA2SP+ communities through Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Techniques, Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I primarily treat adults who suffer from:
Abuse (sexual, physical, and emotional)
Trauma (childhood/neglect, single incidents, PTSD, intergenerational and cultural trauma, and childhood)
Co-occurring mental illnesses
