Meet Simon
(they/them)
I am delighted to introduce myself! I’m a white, fat, trans, nonbinary, disabled, non-monogamous, neurodivergent, queer person with a big smile, a busy brain, and a curious heart.
I love working as a nurse practitioner in primary care. It’s an honor to show up for folks basic day-to-day healthcare needs, and be there when they’re not feeling well. I’m fat-positive, trauma informed, sex work & kink positive, and welcome you to the clinic wherever you are on your health journey. I have a particular interest and expertise in HIV, PrEP, and gender affirming care.
I’m proud to be in solidarity with my patients, to co-create an environment where they can access healing. I enjoy collaborating with other folks in your care team – therapists, PTs, herbalists, acupuncturists, traditional medicine workers, surgeons, etc. I believe deeply in radical autonomy and your right to guide your own health journey – you’re the expert at living in your own body.
I anchor my practice in the belief that I am here to support folks to renew themselves even as we live together in systems of intersecting oppressions. I want to nourish your capacity to connect to more aliveness and possibility around your health.
In my free time I am an activist and abolitionist working for trans liberation and disability justice. And I am a loving steward to a large (and growing) collection of plants. Pothos vines are a particular favorite!
My Learning Lineage
I am grateful to the lineage of folks who have taught me, mentored me, called me in, and supported my growth on this journey.
Many, many thanks to my trans-cestors, to the activists that came before me, to my patients, and to the communities and mentors of Callen-Lorde, Seattle Indian Health Board, Sea Mar, TPATH, CPATH, Ingersoll Gender Center, Epiphanies of Equity, QueerDoc, Have Heart Somatics, Fenway Health TransECHO, Capitol Hill Medical, Plume, MWAETC HIV ECHO, Seattle University, and POCAAN.
I earned my MSN from Seattle University in 2015 and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner residency with Sea Mar Community Health. Since then I have worked as a primary care provider and educator in a variety of settings – mostly in community health. I’m proud to be a Keith Haring Fellow, and recently completed a year-long fellowship in LGBTQ+ health with Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Board Certified, American Association of Nurse Practitioners

I can’t wait to work together!
