I self-identify as a cis-femme queer woman of color (Latina, Multiracial – Dominican/Peruvian). I have extensive training and experience providing affirming mental health care to LGBTQIA+ individuals, with a specific specialization in helping those who are BIPOC & LGBTQIA+. I am constantly seeking and participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to foster my competency in the areas of LGBTQIA+ health, and specifically in the area of Transgender health. I provide individual psychotherapy/counseling, psychological evaluations, and referral letters for gender-affirming medical care (e.g., surgery, HRT, etc.). In this regard, I fully adhere to the Informed Consent model and see myself not as a gatekeeper, but rather as a professional guide, here to help individuals who seek my services achieve greater freedom and life satisfaction.
