I am a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Massachusetts. I have over 15 years of clinical experience, as well as more than 30 years of experience working in the social service field. I have personal and professional experience working in the LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual) community. This experience includes work with both youth and adults. I currently facilitate a gender identity group and have experience facilitating other LGBT identified groups in outpatient, inpatient and community settings. The work that I do involves consultation and education with colleagues, youth, family members and organizations.
I have had specific training in working with victims of trauma, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have worked in a community-based clinic for many years and have experience with people with diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I have clinical experience working with ADHD, depression, anxiety, profound mental health issues, PTSD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
