
Natalie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada. Natalie has over 10 years experience working with families and children experiencing complex trauma. Natalie has vast experience in working with substance using mothers and fathers, their children, and children experiencing the child welfare system. Natalie utilizes a trauma informed lens in working with marginalized populations and a reflective, open therapeutic setting. Natalie is certified in Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)- a therapeutic framework that integrates concepts of developmental trauma and neurodevelopment throughout the lifespan in guiding work with children, families, and their surrounding community. This model is neurobiological informed and focused on brain development and the effects and impact of trauma on the brain. Natalie is in the certification process of Trauma Informed- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence- based therapeutic treatment approach to help children and their families overcome trauma related difficulties and aimed at reducing PTSD symptoms related to emotional and behavioral problems observed. Natalie’s clinical focus over the last 5 years has been supporting children, teens and their families in overcoming trauma and attachment related concerns, including LGBTQ+ youth and families. Natalie appreciates working with clients and families that are engaged in the process and those seeking a clinician that brings honest and genuine relationship and connection to the therapeutic setting.
