Hello! I’m Julia Lewitt, a queer social worker providing therapy services in person (in Fort Collins) and virtually throughout the state of Colorado. Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, I have always been passionate about the ways we connect with others and how our environments shape our experiences. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Washington University and a Master of Social Work from Colorado State University, I aim to help individuals further deepen their understanding of the intricate relationship between various factors in their life, including but not limited to mental health, physical health, personal growth, and social dynamics.
I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy, where each individual’s unique story is the foundation of our work together. I am particularly passionate about the role that social connections and the environment around us play in shaping mental health. By exploring these influences, we can gain valuable insight into the patterns and behaviors that may be affecting your life. Together, we can work toward building healthier, more fulfilling connections and creating an environment that nurtures your growth. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. While fostering this connection, I also offer practical, hands-on strategies and techniques that can be used outside of sessions, empowering clients to feel more in control of their well-being on a day-to-day basis.
Please see my website for additional details and scheduling. I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we are a good fit to work together!
