Hi! I’m Elliott (they/ask), a white, genderfluid, neurodivergent and disabled person embracing an anti-racist and intersectional disability-centered framework.
I provide practical, person-centered support for queer, trans, disabled, and neurodivergent people navigating healthcare, benefits, paperwork, identity-document changes, and finding affirming providers. My goal is to make complicated systems feel more manageable while respecting your autonomy, needs, identity, and lived experience.
I bring my experience as an IHSS worker, queer youth advocate and volunteer crisis counselor, as well as lived-experience-informed support. I have thoroughly enjoyed my work as an IHSS provider and have spent time helping my clients create care instruction documents, call providers, attend medical appointments, and help coordinate their care.
In addition to my own gender transition, I have created resource lists, helped others legally change their name, and provided post-op peer support.
I am a certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist and Psychological First Aid provider. I am trained on HIPAA compliance, trauma informed care, suicide and risk assessment, and SOGIE (sexual orientation and gender identity and expression).
