Hello! I’m MK. I’ m a bisexual, neurodivergent therapist, and both identities inform the way I think about belonging, relationships, and the stories we learn about who we’re supposed to be.
As a bisexual person, I’m particularly interested in the experience of living between categories, the feeling that you may be “not queer enough” in one space or not quite understood in another. Biphobia and bi-erasure can come from both inside and outside LGBTQIA+ communities, sometimes leaving us questioning whether we’re allowed to claim our own identity at all. I want therapy to be a place where you don’t have to prove, perform, or simplify your queerness to be taken seriously.
I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples across monogamous, ethically non-monogamous (ENM), open, and polyamorous relationships. I approach these relationships without assuming that monogamy is the goal, or that non-monogamy is the problem. Instead, I’m curious about what happens when attachment gets activated: fears of being left, rejected, misunderstood, or not chosen, and the ways we protect ourselves when we feel vulnerable.
My style is relational, curious, and collaborative, drawing from attachment work, EFT, parts work/IFS, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic thinking. I’m less interested in telling you what your relationship should look like and more interested in helping you understand yourself and one another more deeply and build relationships that actually fit the people living in them.
