Hi! I’m Angie Florence Wodrazka (she/her), a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and nurse educator based in Wilmington, North Carolina. With nearly two decades of nursing experience, I’m passionate about advancing health equity, challenging stigma and advocating for care that respects the dignity, autonomy and individuality of every person.
As a member of the queer community, I understand the importance of having healthcare professionals who recognize and affirm the many ways we experience identity, sexuality, relationships and belonging. My approach is person-centered, sex-positive and grounded in evidence, curiosity and shared decision-making. I welcome individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions and relationship structures, including those who have felt misunderstood, overlooked or judged in healthcare settings.
My clinical interests include LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health care, sexual wellbeing, ADHD and neurodivergence, OCD, binge eating disorder and metabolic psychiatry. I’m especially drawn to the ways identity, relationships and physical health intersect with mental wellbeing, and how these experiences shape each person’s needs.
Beyond clinical practice, I’m an educator, lifelong learner and advocate for social justice and equal rights. I believe education, representation and community engagement are essential to reducing barriers to care and creating a healthcare system where people feel safe being themselves.
I provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication treatment at Oceanview Mental Health & Wellness in downtown Wilmington, with secure telehealth services available throughout North Carolina.
