Co-Founder of the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay & Transgender Physician Assistant Caucus of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Inc. in 1979. Have attended numerous continuing medical education courses on these topics, and in fact teach LBGT health to PA students at University of Wisconsin Madison, Marquette University, Concordia University, as well as having presented seminars at professional medical conferences. I currently precept PA, NP, medical students and family medicine residents in these and other areas involving LGBT health Continue to volunteer as a PA for the Brady East STD Clinic (and it’s predecessors) from 1976 to the present. Created and was the director and newsletter editor of the National Coalition of Gay STD Services in the 1980s, which published one of the first gay men’s risk assessment tool early in the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and was recognized in U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop’s HIV/AIDS publication distributed to EVERY known address of citizens in the United States back in the early 1980s, as an attempt to reduce hysteria about HIV/AIDS back then. Answered 6695 questions from the public having to do with STDs and LGBT health on the now defunct web service, AllExperts.com. I currently serve on the national board of directors for the National Association of Black and White Men Together, and served as it’s national co-chair from 2012-2016. where among other accomplishments, helped co-author the nation’s first smartphone app addressing racism and homophobia on Android based phones (“RESIST Racism”).
