Supplementing her studies in Sociology & Psychology; Dr. Sorrentino has been studying, researching and delivering professional development training on Gender Diversity, in addition to working with the LGBTQ+ community and their healthcare providers, for more than 34 years. This combination of formal academic education, coupled with her years of experience, research and the training she provides, has positioned her as a subject matter expert in the field. Dr. Diana Sorrentino is an Affirmed Woman. Her life’s evolution (transition) took place in 1990, 34 years ago.
Beyond her direct work with individuals, clinicians and healthcare professionals, Dr. Sorrentino designs, develops and delivers gender diverse, transgender & LGBTQ+ Professional Educational Development programs for Medical & Behavioral Healthcare professionals though Seminars, Workshops, In-service Training, as well as through her Series of Educational Podcasts.
These educational programs have been presented on a local and national level at Conferences and Symposiums for the Healthcare Professionals as well as for Human Resource, Business & Professional Organizations.
