My name is Rachel and I am a physical therapist and manager at our Clairemont location in San Diego for Select Physical Therapy. Although I don’t like labels, I understand that they help with inclusion and identification and would say that I identify as a bisexual female. I am a human being and treat everyone of my patients at a whole human with respect to any gender/sexual orientation/cultural sensitivities. I emphasize my patient’s goals and maintain communication throughout the process to ensure my patients feel safe, included, and involved in the decision making process. We have one private treatment room in our clinic which allows for more privacy if needed, but we truly have a sense of community and openness at our Clairemont location that I believe provides a comforting and supportive experience for each of our patients.
