Stephanie Hunter, ARNP, is an experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner specializing in HIV prevention and treatment, LGBTQ+ primary care, and sexual wellness. With over five years of dedicated work in HIV services, Stephanie has helped countless individuals access PrEP, PEP, and ongoing HIV care through inclusive, judgment-free, and culturally competent healthcare.
Stephanie currently serves as the clinical provider of PrEPConnect, which is focused on eliminating barriers to HIV prevention and ensuring equitable access to care for all people—regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or insurance status.
She is passionate about creating affirming spaces where patients feel seen, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Her approach integrates education, prevention, and holistic wellness, recognizing that mental health, sexual health, and physical health are deeply interconnected.
Stephanie’s professional focus areas include PrEP management, HIV treatment and monitoring, STI screening and prevention, hormone and sexual health counseling, and health equity for LGBTQ+ communities. She remains committed to continuous learning through ongoing training in LGBTQ+ health disparities, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive medicine.
