Sarah Eckles-Van Horn is a nurse practitioner who has been working in healthcare for 27 years. She has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has been working in the field of neurology for the past eight years and prior to that, worked in pulmonary/critical care, and trauma. Sarah’s professional goal is to provide quality patient care that is focused on the whole person, regardless of age, gender, race, or sexual orientation. This includes listening with an open mind to patient concerns, working together with patients and their support persons to determine an appropriate neurological work up and treatment plan, with a focus on shared decision-making.
