I founded Luma to offer a different kind of mental healthcare—one that helps people feel seen, heard, and supported. My path through nursing shaped my belief that healing is physical, emotional, and communal—and that inspired me to create a practice where whole-person care comes first. With dual certifications in psychiatry and family medicine, I integrate a mind–body approach that honors the whole person. I have advanced training in integrative medicine, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and neurodivergence-affirming approaches. With specialized training through the Perinatal Mental Health Certification, I also offer pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum care for all birthing people. The core of Luma was built on the belief that mental healthcare should be equitable, accessible, and rooted in community. I am committed to providing support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and marginalized communities who have too often been overlooked or harmed in traditional systems. My goal is to meet the community as part of the community, offering compassionate, inclusive support that reflects the real needs of those we serve.
