I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. My work centers on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where experiences, challenges, and goals can be explored without judgment. I am committed to fostering equity, affirmation, and respect for autonomy in every therapeutic relationship.
I have specialized training in LGBTQ+ mental health and youth services, including programs offered by the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) and Relias Academy. I have worked extensively with LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and couples navigating issues such as identity exploration, coming out, relationship dynamics, and systemic stressors. My practice is informed by evidence-based approaches and culturally responsive care, with a focus on supporting resilience, self-acceptance, and self-compassion.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the co-chair of the board for Central Arkansas Harm Reduction, where I advocate for equitable access to healthcare and social support for marginalized populations. This work aligns closely with my commitment to LGBTQ+ advocacy, as many LGBTQ+ individuals face disproportionate barriers to care, mental health support, and community resources. Through this role, I aim to create safer, more affirming spaces for all community members.
As a part of the LGBTQ+ community, my experiences help me relate to the challenges and joys my clients face. I aim to create a welcoming, supportive space where people can explore their identities, work through difficulties, and feel seen and understood. My hope is to help clients build more authentic, fulfilling lives, while having a little fun along the way.
