I have worked with a wide variety of clients in a number of settings including hospice, community mental health, medical clinics, private practice, and universities. This has allowed me to gain experience in both a solution focused (let’s get these symptoms managed!) and a deeper (where did these symptoms come from and how can we create lasting change?) way. With all clients, I strive to be present, humble, and as transparent as possible with a good dose of (appropriate) humor.
I specialize in life transitions (grief/loss, divorce, empty-nesters), non-traditional relationship structures, and therapy for other helpers (therapists, medical professionals, care-givers).
