I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Latina therapist who identifies as a bisexual woman and provides LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, and client centered mental health care to adults. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore identity, relationships, trauma, and life transitions while showing up authentically as themselves.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and minority stress related to sexual orientation, cultural expectations, and family acceptance. I have experience working with individuals exploring identity development, managing stress connected to intersectional identities, and building confidence in living more fully aligned with their values.
My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, and attachment-based perspectives. I practice from a strengths-based and culturally humble framework that recognizes the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals, especially those from Latinx and bilingual communities.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and provide individual therapy through Cerebral. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and affirming, and I am committed to supporting LGBTQ+ clients in feeling seen, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
