Amy works with adults of all ages, helping them navigate life transitions, identity development, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss. She has worked with individuals with a wide range of identities while prioritizing the needs of those with barriers to accessing support, including BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, and TGNC individuals, the disabled and chronically ill, single mothers, immigrant and first generation college students, and trauma victims/survivors. Amy’s undergraduate sociology thesis about the experiences of LGBTQ youth, “Growing Up Gay,” was awarded the highest grade of ‘distinction.’ She also provided senior leadership for a Westchester County-based LGBTQ youth program called Center Lane and has recently marched for gender-affirming care and trans healthcare rights.
