Hey, I’m Dr. Caroline R. Callaway. As a Black, nonbinary, queer, Licensed Psychologist I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, affirmed, and supported in their healing. My approach to therapy is rooted in multicultural, humanistic, and liberation-focused frameworks, and I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, authentic, and grounded in compassion. I recognize that our identities, relationships, communities, and systems all shape how we experience the world, and I strive to honor the complexity of your lived experience while helping you build self-compassion, resilience, and empowerment.
I have experience working in college counseling, inpatient psychiatric care, and crisis settings with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and folks exploring questions related to identity, belonging, and relationships. While my work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, I also value creativity and may integrate music or expressive arts into therapy when meaningful for the client. I believe therapy can be a space not only for healing, but also for growth, authenticity, and deeper connection with self and others.
