Hi! I am a Licensed Midwife supporting pregnancy at home and in birth centers. As a queer person who is also a healthcare consumer , I know what it feels like to come into a vulnerable care environment and be with someone from my community. I seek to offer that same familiar comfort with pregnant families looking to have a community based birthing experience. I have been supporting folks through pregnancy for 17 years, as a midwife for 12, and have completed many classes and seminars aimed at providers wanting to increase their ability to ensure their care is gender affirming, as more and more pregnant folks identify somewhere divergent from the cis-het end of the gender spectrum. I have a unique perspective having supported my (not adult) child through their gender exploration and trans-blossoming. I am also a trauma-informed provider, and neurodivergence experienced human.
