I’m Dr. Jimmy Brand, a pediatric-focused audiologist and openly gay healthcare provider practicing in South Bend, Indiana. While pediatrics is a major focus of my practice, I provide audiologic care across the lifespan and welcome patients of all ages—especially LGBTQ+ individuals and families looking for an affirming provider.

I am also an audiologist with hearing loss who wears hearing aids myself. My own experience with hearing loss helps shape the way I counsel patients and families and reminds me that hearing care is about much more than an audiogram or a device. I know firsthand the value of having a healthcare provider who understands at least a little of your experience.

Most importantly, I want everyone who comes into my clinic to feel safe, respected, and welcome. Come as you are. I want to get to know you as a person, understand what matters to you, and provide hearing care that fits into your life. My practice is a place where LGBTQ+ patients and families can be open about who they are without having to wonder how they will be received.
