Hello! My name is Molly (they/them), and I am so glad to meet you here.
I am a queer and nonbinary therapist, and I have been practicing counseling in Colorado since 2023. My approach to counseling is based on the principle that connection is fundamental to our well-being. I strive to bring a warm and grounded presence to the room, to hold space for you to be seen and heard as you are in this moment, and to support you through the moments of laughter and joy as well as the moments of pain and hurt.
I work with adolescents and adults across the span of adulthood, and have a particular passion for working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Everyone comes into the therapy space with their own stories and ways of making meaning in life, and I strive to provide an affirming space that honors the unique ways people think, feel, and move through the world.
I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including self-discovery, stress and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, processing traumatic experiences, and exploring how to create a rich and meaningful life for both the present and the future. My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered therapy (understanding you to be the expert of your own experience) and built upon principles from ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Psychotherapy, and applied Polyvagal Theory.
