I am a licensed mental health therapist and clinical leader specializing in outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment. I provide gender-affirming therapy and 2SLGBTQIA+-affirming care, creating an identity-safe space where clients can show up fully as themselves without needing to filter, explain, or defend who they are.
My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, including a diagnosis of Autism Level 1, which shapes my approach to neurodivergent-affirming care and the intersection of identity and mental health. I have extensive experience supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals navigating trauma, identity development, minority stress, and systemic barriers, particularly for those living in rural or less affirming environments.
As a 2SLGBTQIA+ trauma therapist, I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and psychoeducation. My style is direct, practical, and collaborative—focused on helping clients build insight, regulate their nervous system, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I support clients in areas including gender identity exploration, internalized stigma, relationship dynamics, and the overlap between 2SLGBTQIA+ identity and neurodivergence.
In addition to clinical work, I provide professional trainings on 2SLGBTQIA+-affirming care, focusing on culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and equity-centered practices. I have contributed to expanding access to inclusive behavioral health services, including telehealth programming that reduces barriers for individuals who may not feel safe in traditional care settings.
I am committed to ongoing education in gender-affirming care, trauma treatment, and inclusive clinical practice. My goal is to provide care that is not only affirming, but effective—where clients feel respected, understood, and supported in building a life that aligns with who they are.
