When I showed hesitation at the new plastic surgeon doing FtM top surgery for UK bc I didn’t like his results, she told me some people’s gender dysphoria is just so bad they go with the first choice for surgery instead of the best choice. Made me feel extremely invalid and also like she was pressuring me to go with a sub-par surgeon.
Also she once came into the room and apologized for the patient in the next room over for being loud saying, “I think they have untreated ADHD.” Umm… Ok that was unnecessary and rude and maybe a HIPPA violation?? I responded with I think I have ADHD too and she referred me to a psychiatrist for ADHD testing that doesn’t even do ADHD testing.
It also takes months to see her, and if you aren’t already accepted into the Transform Clinic it could take years. The Transform Clinic NEEDS more doctors (she’s the only one at the practice)
