I am an out lesbian, identifying as non-binary. I have been working with members of the LGBTQ community for over 25 years and have written numerous papers and given dozens of presentations about queer issues and working with the queer community. I am a member of WPATH , the American Psychological Association’s, Division 44, the Society for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity., and American Psychological Association’s Division 39, Psychoanalysis, where I was Co-Chair of the Sexuality and Gender Identities Committee for eight years. Additionally, I am a clinical supervisor for the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s LGBTQ Clinic. I was awarded the Outstanding Contribution in 2016 from the Sexuality and Gender Identities Committee of the American Psychological Association’s Division 39, Psychoanalysis.
