TELEHEALTH ONLY, Connecting via Zoom. Dr. Anthony has been in professional psychology practice since 1974. He received his Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychodiagnostics.
He has worked as a Psychologist; Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor; Substance Abuse Counselor; University Instructor, and Employee Assistance Program Coordinator and Counselor in state, county, and federal governments; community agencies; school and hospital settings; and in private practice.
He counseled runaway children and adolescents, ran convicted drinking-driver treatment groups, treated military personnel and those with substance abuse and eating disorders, and assessed, treated, and trained inmates and prison staff. He has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology classes.
He has worked with those with sleep disturbances, depression, suicide issues, anxiety, stress including PTSD, anger management, substance abuse, impulse control, psychosis, and sex abuse/offender issues.
He has been in private practice at the Center for Human Development since 1989 and at CenterLife Counseling, White Bear Lake since 2017. His specialty areas include adolescents, limit testers and manipulators, addictions, relationship counseling, depression and anxiety reduction.
He is a member of the American, Minnesota, and Rhode Island Psychological Associations.
He is married with two daughters, a son, and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys reading, travel, hiking, bicycling, swimming, music, movies, plays, and socializing.
