She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University in North Carolina and both her Master’s degree and her Doctorate from Walden University. She is also a veteran in the United States Army where she proudly served her country before entering graduate school.
Specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, abuse/neglect, LGBTQ+, and marriage/family issues, she also has advanced training in CBT, TF-CBT, and Adoption-Competent Therapy.
