Welcome! I specialize in adults (20’s, 30’s, and 40’s) dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship & career challenges, ADHD, OCD, panic attacks, and trauma. My approach is first to understand your struggles and perspective. And, as needed, supplement your instincts with clinical tools. I draw from modalities such as CBT, humanism, IFS, attachment theory & mindfulness (see Treatment Approach below). I’m also trained in Positive Psychology—the scientific study of happiness.
I strive to create an inclusive environment that support self-discovery, authenticity and growth. Proof of my commitment to clients might be best learned from the client testimonials themselves, which can be found on the landing page of website.
Matt Sosnowsky, MSW, MAPP is the founder of Philadelphia Talk Therapy, serving greater Philadelphia. He has masters degrees in clinical Social Work and Applied Positive Psychology, each from the University of Pennsylvania; and a bachelors degree in Finance from Penn State University.
