I am a practicing primary care physician for over 14 years. I see adults and focus on managing many chronic medical conditions and patients with complex medical histories. I offer basic gynecologic care including cervical cancer screening, STI screening and treatment and contraception. I will refer for IUDs, nexplanon and permanent forms of contraception. I aim to be inclusive in my care, providing a safe space for all patients. It saddens me that some patients, based on past experiences, have felt compelled to ask if I was willing to be their doctor after knowing their sexual orientation. Although I do not prescribe gender affirming hormones myself, I know several colleagues in the area who do and can provide referrals to them.
