As an agender individual I bring my lived experience to my work with gender diverse clients. While much of my work is focused on supportive care for transgender and nonbinary individuals, I see people with diverse sexual orientations experiences as well. My work spans from supportive care to depression, anxiety, and trauma. Generally my style is very warm and personal as opposed to clinical; many of my clients describe our time together as connecting with a safe and supportive friend who has particular skill to help them with where they struggle. I see myself as primarily using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice, but since it is an eclectic modality I also use other types of approaches as they fit the individual situation of my clients.
I am licensed to provide mental health services in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
I have been seeing Aaron for about 9 months now. As a trans client it is important to have a member of the community as a therapist. Aaron has been open, honest, and incredibly helpful in this phase of life.
Aaron runs a group for trans people and I’ve been in it since day 1. It’s helped me tremendously and I consider Aaron the best trans-friendly therapist I could’ve ever found.
