Camie Nitzel PhD LP (she/they) is a Licensed Psychologist and the Founder of Kindred Psychology. As a queer-identified psychologist, Camie enjoys supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, particularly transgender and gender-diverse individuals. In her clinical and supervisory work, Camie is guided by the Informed Consent Model as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Dr. Nitzel provides WPATH-aligned pre-hormone and pre-surgical psychological evaluations for transgender individuals. Camie also serves on the NSAA’s Gender Identity Eligibility Committee.

Dr. Nitzel and the other providers at Kindred Psychology work with educators, medical and mental health providers, businesses, and schools in a consulting capacity. Through climate assessments and training opportunities, clinicians and staff share their expertise in developing sensitive and culturally responsive environments, inclusive of diverse gender identities, sexualities, relationships, and families in all manner of constellation.

Dr. Camie Nitzel is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Nebraska. Under the authority of Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), Dr. Nitzel is also authorized to provide Telehealth Psychology services to clients in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Washington.
